I have already managed to benefit from Tavi's Open Source code - I managed to implement a meatball:RichSiteSummary? feed for newsgroups (using the PHP-based Newsportal code) using the patch at TaviPatches/Syndication - thanks!! I will post the code once I get a webhost sorted out, in the mean time email me.
