Great, it works! This Wiki engine is cool, quick, and intergated in egroupware.org, what does the real man wants else? :-)
Evgueni (from Russia, Yekaterinburg)

Looking into using a wiki for internal documentation purposes - JayD?
Hi, taking a look around.. [xavier]/
Greetings, LarsOlson.
Just come and learn RD

[Corvonero] Just browsing
[Doug Hudiburg] Im thinking about starting a global wikki about the power of being peaceful. First stop on the path.
[Ron Shannon] Very nice wiki. Interested in comparing it to Moin Moin.
[Morpheus] -- Seems very good. Switched from another Wiki engine after a few recommendations, like the concept so far. Need to find out more about options for securing access, and creating a new template.
[David M]- I thinking that I'm going to set up a Wiki for e-learning purposes based on this script because it apears to work very well.
[Kenneth Krabat] stopped by on the way to a more communal spirit, and Lo and Behold! Wikis acually do work, meaning *outside* of my first experience with wikis, in the planning of a recent project [SmokeOnTheWater]. I am amazed and full of joy - to think freedom can actually breed freedom!
[Udo Burghardt] seeking for documentation. Realising that [eGroupware] is actually using WikkiTikkiTavi sent me here. Unfortunately it seems they have implemented only a subset of the native features (I am not sure about this one yet). Nevertheless both are great products. Thank you very much for coding it :-)
Chris found this. Searching for an interesting, nondead wiki- or failing that, trying to see if he could find sourcecode, and then beat one of his more technically minded friends into hosting it and such good stuff. haven't actually explored tavi yet, just decided to note this down in here.
This is somewhat off topic, but I'm not sure where else to stick this little note- IN searching the net for wikis, i continually run into, well, for a lack of knowledge of an approriate word- purposeful wikis. wiki's that are created around a central theme. It's interesting- the knowledge of several people being easly assessable/ammendable/correctable... the wikipedia is a great resource. However, i guess what i'm looking for is a social wiki- kind of an gaint sandbox i guess. I see why i'm not finding any- anysuch wiki would be small, heavily chaotic, and liable to loose/gain popularity rapidly, and could 'die' very fast with no warning.. don't suppsoe anyone here could help?
MattisManzel did some despamming as a warmup here
Not sure if any Wikki is really what I'm looking for.
AndrewCates came by to see if this was the perfect Wiki he is in search of (as a certain Mr Graham once said if you find a perfect church don't join it you'll spoil it
I can't believe that man told the king that his daughter can spin straw into gold. He sure did set some pretty high expectations, good thing it's fiction.
Raz - Will be using 'Tavi for some content management on an intranet - Am going to try and make content managers learn the syntax - should be fun!!!
MyronDavis - Using WikkiTikkiTavi on my site, I really like the idea of storing everything in mysql and with a php accelerator everything seems to be running very nicely.
(Pankin)? - Wiki works swell.. we use it on our company for internal project information - one wiki site for each project. The only problem is that the pc running the farm is so slow... :-(
Red15 - I'm using WikkiTikkiTavi thru eGroupWare and am kinda puzzled by the differences to normal TikiWiki?. Especially the syntax differences.
(Piro)? - Very nicely done, I'm currently trying to get http://www.igdb.nl up and running with it :)
Hello, intresting implementation
JustMe? - Good Question but probably not the best place to ask it ;)
There are so many wiki implementations available; how does one choose!!?
OlssonE just installed this on my machine. It works great!
JohnAbbe - also considering it
Paolo Romano, Genova, Italy - I'm looking for a Wiki system that can easily be implemented in an Apache/MySQL/PHP? environment and it seems that I've found it. Still experimenting though.
BrianMilby - I think that I'm going to set up a Wiki site based on this script. Seems to work well.
RedBit - testing!
PeterBurgess - I am experimenting with using WikkiTikkiTavi as a means of compiling a lot of information about small scale and informal activities going on related to HIV-AIDS around the world. First impressions are that it will work well, but I am nervous about two things: (1) when does the system choke because of the quantity of content?; and, (2) what might be a good way of exporting information from the wiki pages to an organized (SQL enabled) database? Access to this wiki is via http://www.afrifund.com
-Steve Hastings just heard about wikis'and learned about this one via Seattle SAGE group.
Cool stuff!
Bla Bla Bla
Cool job. Translated* the user interface in French, want me to upload it somewhere?
(* Was quicker to translate than to find on Google. If somebody else did it before (and/or better) I apologize ;-) )
[Gerg] Wikis are great!
[mdupont] 2003 dec 07 Tavi seems to be pretty cool. I was happy to find it in phpgroupware.
I am interested in porting some SGML docuements and two oddmuse wikis into Tavi. Lets see how hard this will be.
mike [m dupont 777 at yahoo com/remove spaces,add dots and @)
I've just started using 'Tavi on WebElements - the periodic table on the WWW at http://www.webelements.com/wiki/ . I was impressed with how easy it was to customise the appearance of the wiki to fit in with my look and feel - especially compared to some other packages I examined. Installation, in my hands, a little awkward, but it only took half an hour to have it up and running on Mac OSX and a couple of hours for the customisation. Good package - but are chemists ready for wikis ! ? We'll see. Looking forward to the sub/superscript support in 0.25.
[dessin ] - 2003 dec
Fantastic script. Almost overlooked it, but so glad I didn't. Code seems very well organized and expandable. I look forward to playing around with my own Tavi wiki real soon.
With gratitude and respect,
Brent

NoFunction - realcycling is an open knowledgbase and communication platform
Hans-Göran Puke is desperately trying to find someone who can help him getting 'Tavi to run on his Redhat 7.2 system. I get a lot of reference errors to files in lib/. Any ideas, or how to get help? Pls mail me at hgpuke@home.se
JoughDempsey is using 'Tavi on the Open Poetry Project - OPP:OpenPoetryProject?.
MichaelHartmann visit from [[Ibukis.de]] the wakkawiki help site in german

MAMYUN: Great idea. Seriously.
GhostDog. Yo!
phlyingpenguin is using it for [phlyingpenguin.net] and loves it! Tavi needs more advertising!!!
IndieFire being used to track film resources!
Gundula Clausen (Germany): it's great! I like it.
RedIguana: (Paris France) Wow, this is wonderful and cool ;-)
Brindy (UK): Hello all! I like this... it's cool!
hgg (AUS): very impressive, congratulations, I found it at [SOURCEMAGE] and came here for a peak
DieterGobbers (Germany): I already have a plan where to use it :-)
DavidChristian (USA): Using this in my lab, working on an extension to allow file attachments (nothing too fancy)
DigDug (USSA): Very nice as a replacement for Yahoo! Notepad or e-mailing myself info.
DeVlaamseLeeuw (Belgium): Nice site :D
MarcTobiasWenzel (Germany): The idea is great
Yahoo Huang (CN): it's great! I like it.
JaniMikkonen (Finland) : Nice piece of software. Last commit on the cvs seems to be quite (and i mean really really) old. Any plans from anyone to take up the development ?
Varghjärta(CW) in sweden : I downloaded it but had to come back to get some info cuz I don't have pearl*grin*. And i'v found the help I needed. I have yet to try it on my own apache but it looks _really_ impressive and had taken the first place of my option that I will use on a live site. Great work, honor and glory to you!
BruceKroeze: I love Tavi. Thanks so much for creating such an excellent piece of software!
SivaK (chennai india, naturesoft pvt ltd): This site is cool and nice.
Smokinjoe: hey dudes.
Jeremiah: I am fascinated by the whole wiki concept, I think it is great. It shows some of the basic goodness of the human spirit.
Mediaforce: die idee alle seiten editierbar zu halten ist ganz witzig...
QuadraMan: I like it. It's good. I'm gonna go away and try it somewhere.
MassimoI: I have migrated my sites to Tavi, it's really great. You can get a nice patch of mine if you like at TaviPatches/LocalImages
Carl Smotricz: I run UseModWiki but I think I like this better. As soon as my new server is set up, I plan put it up on my [Smotricz Sensational Software] site.
RaimoKaarna: Interesting editing system... I'll try to use it on my web site http://www.sci.fi/~signal
IavorRaytchev?: The cleanest and simplest wiki. Powers our intranet (staff) and extranet (external partners). One wiki is used as the development documentation of a quite big project. Looking forward towards the PostgreSQL port.
NelsonLeo: I need to port the Wikki concept to my Zambian site [The Zambian] - although I'm not sure if people would communicate more through the Wikki style or a simple threaded discussion board.
PeterK: looks great so far
(Matt Hicks)?: Looking into wiki engines as a documentation solution. 'Tavi is the cleanest, simplest engine I've seen so far and I really like it! Unfortunately, the sites I create are all intranet, so I can't show them off, but I will share what I can!
DanChambers: Fantastic. I've put a copy on [my site] and I'm looking to extend it to include Flash movies.
MagnusEspeland: 'Tavi looks great! We're going to test it for our intranet for a few weeks. :) Thanks!
MiiroJuuso: 'Tavi really rocks.
TomAndrle: I've known the concept of wiki for about a year, but now I'm trying to actually set up a wiki on my own page.
TobySeaman: I'm interested in collaborative working environments and shared data environments. I looked at the Wiki concept a year ago but I must have had graphics fever. Now my head is clearer and I think wiki could be just the ticket.
NathanMcQuillen: I've been running wikis on my personal site since fall of 2001. I started with Qwiki, but migrated to 'Tavi in a fit of late night Perl-frustration.
LaurentJacques: I have just discovered what is a wiki through the WikkiTikkiTavi project. This is fantastic. I have applied this concept to the website of a subsection of my university. The aim of this is to create some User Help pages about various things like: our network, the main linux commands, the services offered, ... With the wiki point of view, every user will be able to add his own comments. That's great.
DavidDorward: I'd decided that a Wiki would be a good way to plan a project that a group of us are working on. So far its proven to be very useful, and as soon as I have my new server running I'm going to set up a wiki on my LAN as a searchable, easily modifiable notebook.
ØyvindGrønnesby: I've started using 'Tavi as the webpage for several of my RPG campaigns so that the players that I GM for could easily enter and edit information (less work for me, yay!). Recently I've started hacking at several minimal implementations of Wiki to see what makes them tick, but nothing advanced.
HaiPham: I came by here while searching for detail description of wiki text formatting syntax. I am using it in a content management system (written in Java). Anyway, great web site layout guys. I think I will install Tavi sometimes soon too. Keep up the good work.
JeremyK: just set up UseMod to play with, but Tavi looks nice - might try it later. this site has great information on the concept.
RickVanLieshout: using Tavi on my site at http://www.promo-it.nl/WebDevWiki (or WebDevWikiNL?:WebDevWiki?)
MatBennett: Only stumbled across the Wiki concept a couple of days ago and am looking around at different engines. WikkiTikkiTavi looks like a strong contender and I am looking forward to having some fun with it soon.
Grebneke: WikkiTikkiTavi is really great, thanks for taking your time to make it so good!
[Manuel Zamora]: Cooooool! Will install it locally as my information-trash ;)
[Gold]: This is great. The company I'm working for installed phpWiki and when it came time for me and a group of friends to need one also we found a few performance problems with it. 'Tavi, on the other hand, installed smoothly and ran fine pretty much right out of the box.
ConiBeeli: happen to stumble over this Wikki-business! Really intriguing and may be a good idea - we'll see ...
HardyHaardt: very interesting, needs al little bit more automatic, e.g. why do I have to edit this page: It could be done automatically
JohnCumming Good work, I am learning alot.
JimBourke and EdKoffeman
